Illustrative property scene
Start with your building
A mixed-use property can contain several different rebate projects behind one street address. Apartments, ground-floor shops, offices, and common systems may have separate meters, owners, or application requirements. We help property managers untangle that structure before estimating incentives. Start with a simple map of uses and utility accounts, then identify the systems each proposed upgrade serves. That allows residential and commercial opportunities to be assessed on their own terms, with a coordinated property plan for access, purchasing, and documentation. A mixed-use label does not create a separate utility program.
Your utility confirms eligibility, approved measures, incentive amounts, and funding. Review requirements before purchasing or installing equipment.

A useful scope accounts for access, equipment, and the people who use the property each day.
Connect each building area to the utility account, owner, operator, and systems serving it.
Distinguish apartment, tenant, common-area, and shared-system work so quantities and proposed costs remain traceable.
Identify management, tenant, ownership, and utility decisions early so one part of the property does not delay the rest.
Questions from property teams
We review the residential and commercial components under the applicable utility pathways. Building use, metering, and equipment determine the route rather than a standalone mixed-use label.
Do not assume that it can. The utility must confirm how a shared system is treated and whether any incentive combination is permitted. Duplicate claims for the same work should not be planned.
A site plan, meter list, description of each use, equipment inventory, and the proposed capital work provide a useful starting point. You can send the property address first and discuss the records afterward.
