On a new commercial building, the HVAC decisions that determine operating cost for the next twenty years get made in the first few weeks of design — and they get made by whoever is in the room. Bringing a mechanical contractor in after the drawings are set means inheriting whatever the plans assumed about loads, duct space, and electrical service, and paying for every one of those assumptions later.

Oversizing is the most common and most expensive error in this market — it costs more up front, then short-cycles, strips humidity poorly, and fails early.

Coordination is where mechanical work goes wrong on a jobsite. We coordinate ceiling space with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural before fabrication, verify roof structural capacity and curb layout with the structural engineer, confirm electrical service and panel capacity with the EC, and sequence our work against the general contractor's schedule so mechanical is not the trade holding up ceiling close-in. We show up to coordination meetings and we hit our dates.

We deliver commissioned, documented systems: verified external static and airflow per ton, superheat and subcooling against manufacturer targets, economizer and damper operation, ventilation rates measured against design, safety and limit controls tested, controls programmed to the occupancy schedule, and full closeout documentation — as-builts, submittals, O&M manuals, warranty registrations, and control sequences.
